Golden Retrievers are known for their highly relaxed, ultra-mellow temperaments. These dogs are intelligent, loving, playful and incredibly loyal, which makes them the perfect companion.
Our English Golden Retrievers migrated to New Zealand with our family from the UK. All of our adult dogs are registered with Dogs NZ (previously NZ Kennel Club) and come from the highest quality English bloodlines, with many champions within their five generation pedigree.
Our dogs are part of our family, they are well socialised with children and other animals. Our mission is to breed the perfect companion for your family, in excellent health, with loving temperaments. We ensure our dogs want for nothing and live their best life, enjoying exploring our five-acre life-style block in Dairy Flat, Auckland.

Recognised as one of the top English Golden Retriever Breeders in the UK and now in NZ, our mission is to breed the perfect companion, in excellent health, with loving temperaments to seamlessly become apart of your family.
We focus on helping our puppies grow into confident and well socialised puppies, ensuring they are ready to become a member of your family. Our puppies enjoy spending time around our children, family members, and our adult dogs. Special attention is paid to the family socialisation, health testing, house training and desentizing training of all our puppies.

Reighton Retrievers is a state of the art English Golden Retriever breeder based on the North Shore, Auckland. Our five-acre life-style block provides a peaceful setting to raise our extraordinary English Golden Retriever puppies.
Emma and Sophie (mother and daughter) have been breeding dogs in the UK for over 20 years, recognised as one of the best UK Golden Retriever breeders and a member of the UK Kennel Club.
Reighton, North Yorkshire is where it all began, before migrating to New Zealand this was where our business was based. Our dogs started life in our old farmhouse, on the Yorkshire Coast.
Having made the move to NZ, we have now become a member of Dogs NZ, registering our adult dogs as part of the importing process. We absolutely love Golden Retrievers, we believe the breed is the perfect companion for your family.
